This is my 1948 CJ2A which I purchased
in 1966. The picture to the left is taken by my wife Katrina around 1985. During 44 years I have driven this jeep around 200000 kilometers and rebuilt it twice. The picture to the right is from 2000. I purchased the nice Beachwood canvas top in 1994. It is still in good condition.

This old MB (yes, it is a Willys MB) I
purchased in 1998 from the northern part of Sweden. It was used on
a farm probably from the end of the war and onwards. When the farmer got
old, it was difficult for him to depress the brake pedal, so someone
installed a new master brake cylinder and a long lever between the front seats.
The original master cylinder was discarded. A
tricky vehicle to drive! During those years the jeep was "upgraded" with a CJ2A rear axle, front window and grill. This made the driving even more tricky because of the difference in gear ratio between the front and rear axles. A very powerfull winsch was also installed in the rear end. Maybe the jeep was used for hunting or forest work. I hope to get enough time to restore it one day!

One of my sons, Ola Svensson, is the owner of
this bright red MB from 1944. The jeep landed in the south of France
late 1944 or early 1945. It was driven up to northern Germany. Then the war ended and this
and nine other jeeps were sold to four insurance companies in
Sweden. The jeeps were painted red and some fire equipment was
installed. Then the jeeps were handed over to ten fire stations as a
gift. There is a silver plate on the dashboard telling about the
gift. If you want to know more about the restauration clic on the
